Nickl Elektronik-Entwicklung GmbH is a developer and manufacturer of very high-brightness, compact, versatile and rugged TFT LCD displays / monitors for mobile applications, most in motorcars. The displays are particular designed for car and avionic research and development uses and so they are in demand for superior measurement and high-end multimedia systems too. The SunLight- and StarLight- displays are leading in this sector as they are hundredfold tested on harsh applications at extreme winter- and summer- test runs and they are proven for more than 16 years.

At small-sized VGA-displays the "electronic lens" is advantageous.

The high-brightness and very high-resolution (1600x1200 pixels) SunLight15U display is outstanding among the rugged TFT-displays.
With the ultra small border it is compact, the UXGA- resolution is perfect for graphics and with its brightness it is singular.

If the R&D- or presentation- car features a high-resolution navigation- or instrument panel- display, it can be controlled pixel-accurate by a computer via VGA- or DVI- as well as via CVBS-videosignals using a ImageCutter30 and ImageHub30. Switching to the original image is possible at every time. With this components there are no troublesome installations inside the car apparent. Many car-displays are already supported.

The new CD65V is an embedded-processor-system combined with a unique firmware with a 3-in-1 functionality and a high-bright display - it can be used for
● CAN stand-alone visualisation or
● logger-display and as a
● Ethernet-display
using remote-procedure-calls. A free configurable indication- and operation- user interface with may widgets is available.
